About the Course
Unlock the mindset of an ethical hacker and discover how cyber professionals stay one step ahead of attackers. Ethical Hacking Fundamentals gives you a gripping, hands-on introduction to the world of cybersecurity—perfect for anyone curious about how real attacks happen and how they’re stopped.
You’ll start by breaking down what hacking truly means, the types of hackers, key cybersecurity terminology, the stages of an attack, and the security elements every penetration tester relies on.
Next, you’ll dive into reconnaissance, mastering footprinting methods, email footprinting, and the full pen-test footprinting process. You’ll explore network scanning, vulnerability scanning, enumeration, and learn to counter port-scanning attempts—supported by a practical NMAP demo.
Finally, the course exposes the human side of hacking through social engineering. You’ll learn its types, phases, and defense strategies, then move into phishing detection and web penetration testing, including web layers and application architecture. This is your first step toward thinking—and defending—like a true ethical hacker.
