About the Course

This course introduces learners to Snowflake as a platform for building applications, data pipelines, and AI models and workflows. It takes them from zero Snowflake knowledge all the way to creating user-defined functions, using a Snowflake Cortex LLM function, editing a Streamlit app, and more. The course unfolds in three parts: First, participants learn to use Snowflake’s core objects such as virtual warehouses, stages, and databases. Then they learn about slightly more advanced objects and features such as time travel, cloning, user-defined functions, and stored procedures. Finally, they’re introduced to Snowflake’s capabilities for data engineering, generative AI, machine learning, and app development. Learners come away equipped to start building with Snowflake and to continue their Snowflake learning journeys. Excellent course for overview of everything - produce more this time deeper into snowflake ml , genAI and data engineering

the course videos wasted alot of time on irrelevant content like I am a 40 year old man why would i need fairy tales to relate to how good or bad a snowflake feature is. if the time on this stuff was not wasted it is a good intro course and it would be much better and quicker to complete. many questions in quizzes was just there for the sake of adding questions, these can also be removed

I would not recommend this course and especially this specilization. I don't feel like I learned anything and the commands libraries and UI of snowflake are all outdated.
